The rash started to fade the day I was supposed to go to the doctor, so I didn't bother. A coworker told me her daughter experienced something similar and it turned out to be chikungunya virus. I researched my symptoms and that came up as did Zika virus.
Anyway, whatever it was is pretty much gone now. I hope.

Why would you think you're OK if you symptoms disappear?
My wife's got a cousin who is an infectious disease specialist at a big hospital.
She had great stories
My point is that it's great to make fun of things, but some things you should take seriously.
Look up an infectious disease specialist, and waste that $200.
Let the expert tell you're OK, not some random ho wearing a white lab coat.
You'll buy the pedal later.

I've had chikungunya... the joint pain is rediculous and stuck around for quite a long time... I couldn't crack one of my knuckles for easily a year

I would get a blood test for sure. A rash may disappear but the virus can settle somewhere in your body. You could be sitting on it right now.
