had some flooding a loooong time ago, took out the floors on half our house (yeah, the house wasnt level

) a bunch of polaroids and records stored in there. there is a very particular smell to boxes upon boxes of old film mixed with runoff water

WTH Youngblood? 1:30 is a little early on a Tuesday to be drunk posting!

Things have been back to normal for most folks for a few months. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time it rained.
Lots of people are still without homes and are dealing with FEMA claims though.
Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers back when this was going on!

I was driving through Texas today on I-10 and from about ozona to Ft. Stockton, it pissed, flat fuck rained to where I could not see/hydroplaning.
Then, in Ciudad Juarez, the same damn thing happened. Then a huge pop under the hood area. There I am side of the road in butthole El Paso beating the shit out of a metal shroud that got bumped up into the AC compressor pulley.
