Stupid ass topic, but when in Rome....

I'd say the biggest difference between how men and women communicate is: Men communicate reason/rationale and Women communicate feelings/emotions.

Feelings are complicated and sometimes without any hope of achieving any real understanding. This is why women don't shut the fuck up sometimes and ping pong all over the place. Reasoning and rationale typically has a linear cause and effect type of unfolding, so we actually have a point to make and when we don't we just discard the topic and stay quiet.

A man will say, "but how does that make any sense? :hmm:

" and a woman will reply, "it doesn't have to make sense...it's how I feel!!! :loon:

The guy I work with is going to meet the author(s). lol

I wouldn't have brought this up if it weren't something I heard today.

What he said was "ever since I got married, I've been able to communicate much better with women. *then talked about the Men are like waffles, women are like spaghetti book* "
It was borderline sexist during his rant about men and women being different and how hard it was to talk to a woman.
He was around two women and three guys. Nobody said a word.

apparently he goes to church marriage meetings too. Not counseling, but just how to be a better married couple.

I say good for them......
