That said, I wouldn't do that shit. Or marry a chick that wanted to do shit like that.

Pretty much this.

My wife and I had to make so many compromises with our wedding that she's still pissed about it, so it's kinda cool to see a couple that you know did EXACTLY what they wanted for their wedding.
That said, I don't think I'd want to get married that way but it might be a fun wedding to watch.
.

We're saving for our 10th anniversary so my wife can have the wedding of her dreams. I love her so she can do whatever she wants. I'll show up.

Of course, I didn't date a girl obsessed with Disney so I'm pretty certain ill be comfortable with what she decides on.

Awesome! Our wedding was pretty low key but was also exactly what Mrs. Yarbicus wanted. Hell, she made her own damn dress and it was incredible!

Kick ass!

We got married at the courthouse haha. It was as low key as it sounds. Mrs Nutz wants something more fun when we redo it.

Honestly I'd be that those are the BEST pics that could be taken!

FWIW he's prolly a really beaten down sorta guy, most likely still in the closet and simply went along with it to stay in the closet, thinking that the world will not like him if he's out of the closet.

He's wrong, the world'd not care but we hate him for going a long with this!

Guess I need to thank you guys for reminding me just how awesome Mrs. Draelyc is. Not only did she understand (without my having to explain it to her) that it was *our* wedding, not *her* wedding, but she also understood intuitively that, given our particular religious beliefs, the sacrament of marriage is centered on Christ, not the bride's or groom's (or their families') egos.

Lol ~ our denomination uses real wine in the actual sacrament, fwiw. The reception was catered -- for free -- by friends of ours who, in their off-time, are gourmet chefs.

And Mrs. Drae & I danced our first dance at the reception to "Love, Reign O'er Me." :rawk: Everybody else was like WTF, but we didn't care. :arr:

I have to disagree. It totally depends on the woman.

My wife wasn't a bride-zilla when we got married. We both agreed on a color scheme and she went on to do her thing and I did mine.

My best man and I both wore leather Chuck Taylor's and our wedding march song was 'Overture' by Dream Theater.

I chose all the music for the night too.

Thing is, some women go fucking mental planning a wedding and some don't.

She did but she wasn't all bat shit crazy about having me do everything as she planned.

She didn't like that my best man and I wore Chuck's. She wasn't too fond of Dream Theater too but she knew that I wanted them so she gave way.

Some brides control EVERYTHING right down to the last, infinitesimal detail.
