Pricey, but sounds pretty good. Is this a new trend, using the higher watt power tubes, but running them at a much lower B+? Soldano basically did the same thing though I think it was push-pull whereas the Marshall is a single-ended EL34.

$600 is retail, street should be cheaper.

So if it's really an EL34 - how hard would it be to up the voltages and get around 15 watts out of it?

Drop a Greenback or Blue in it and I would be in heaven.

I think that it sounded great in clean mode and overdriven was nice also. I just don't like the look with the angled faceplate ala 90's era Marshall valvestate. The 600 price tag seems pretty cheap to me , especially considering that the 1 watt amps were way more $ and way less features, I am guessing that this isn't a uk made Marshall which really bothers me as other non uk Marshall's like the haze I played were junk and cheaply made from the gate. If this is uk made then the price is fantastic and I will pick one up to have around the house.
