Tesseract is one of the few Djent bands i still like and find interesting.. i think it's because his vocals are SO amazing :love:

This has been in my car for a few days. It is weird. Patrick Moraz instead of Rick Wakeman on keyboards. Parts of some of the songs sound like they couldn't hear what each other was playing, they just knew what key it was in. Also, some of Steve Howe's solos sound like an incredibly facile beginner. This is one of those "listen to it every three or four years" albums for me.

My guitar teacher is a huge Clapton fan, especially this album. I'm listening to it with an open mind because Clapton isn't my fave by a long shot and this is old shuffle blues stuff which is OK with me but dated. EC does rip it up on this and I've heard it is a Les Paul into a cranked Marshall combo with distant micing, it sounds good if that's what it is. This is great stuff when keeping the date of release in perspective.
