Saw that brush on IG, that’s a badass.

Seeing that makes me wanna do something different for my green one; I have 3 really good badgers as of now, thinking maybe something from APShaveCo for a synthetic or something, or one of those Oumo knots.

Undecided.

Decided shave anyway, cause fuck all the not shaving.

This is ugly, but worked better.

This was easier for me to maneuver, which is a plus. I feel sort of rawish though, I'm gonna keep working the angles. I hope I can make this a daily shaver....I think I just need to use less pressure (although I'm using almost none now) as the old Timeless habits/muscle memory are hard to break.

overall underwhelming. Rockwell felt way too mild. I haven't had a mind blowing soap commander shave in the last few times.
8/10

I kind of just want to use my blackbird, my blue plats, and my Saponificio Varesinos.

Been using the Edwin Jagger with a Sputnic for three days. Was in a rush 8/10
The handle on the EJ came from a Canadian made Gillette Tech - the screw on the cap broke when it fell on the floor... it was the best Tech I had.
The EJ came with a very smooth handle that was slippery when wet so, it got a new/old handle.
Can't believe how much I like the Phoenix Shave Vetiver Planet... hated it when I first tried it.

I'll be back on the WSP on Sunday, needed a break. Changed some other shit up, used an Astra Platinum Geno sent me.

I cheated......I rode the bar. Fuck it, it worked. Best shave since the first one.

8/10, opened the cut on my damn jaw again. Getting there though....no raw feeling, just a damn smooth shave. Holy fuck I'm smooth.

Cool shaves dudes!
1. Got a bunch of saponificio varesino stuff from small flower. The best smelling one had some rancid looking orange spots on it. I figured it was old stock. I asked small flower if I should send it back. They told me to get fucked and to contact sv. Thanks, small flower. I’m just going to suck it up and use it.

2..I got some Murphy and McNeil Ogham. It has the most badass graphics ever. Smells good.
Image

3. Got my colonial general. Stoked. Stainless. Made in the USA. Artist club blades. Based on George Washington’s cannon.
Image

4. Caved and bought another grizzly. Wtf is wrong with me?

I do NOT need to buy more shit lol

I’m $600 into razors right now and have like 35 soap and AS sets. This shit is gonna take me forever to go thru.

Knot for that green GB and I’m done for a while. Gonna focus on the Blackbird and the Dart and see which one can stick. Hoping both of them!

I keep trying to find a place for my turn n shave ghost and Timberwolf synthetics. So I might do that. It keeps things more interesting if I don’t put the same shd badger on every handle.

The Rex is pretty sweet dude. Pure quality. Very pretty. ATM, I can get closer shaves with my blackbird, but that doesn’t stop me from loving the Rex also.

I hear ya man. I just gave a bag of aftershave to the Salvation Army. Those guys in the program always need grooming products to clean up.

I have way too much soap and too many razors right now. I might try to sell it on the wet shaving society on Facebook.

Have you tried the dart yet ?

Amazing shave. Every time I have an awesome shave with an artist club razor, I wonder why I don’t do it more often. This general is badass.

The manna di Sicilia is the shit.

This is probably my favorite brush right now. Like a giant stiff pillow.

I love Prada scents. Daniella roche is the best.

Dudes, Razorock is making a Cnc milled aluminum SLOC. I want this badly since I pretty much refuse to use zamak razors now.

I see more and more CNC milled razors. I haven't visited the Pheonix website in a while and I noticed they're selling a couple...
This copper one looks cool and of course, it's sold out.

Shoot, the Razorock looks like a direct knockoff of the Phoenix. That said, those companies are buddy buddy so I’m sure they have an agreement.

I bet they both buy from the same manufacturer... a lot of sneakers (Nike, Puma, Addidas, etc) are made at the same plant in Korea (heard that from a retail buyer).

BAY RUM SUNDAY!!! :rawk:

Like my Edwin Jager, I haven't used the Long Handle Muker Classic in a long time so, I loaded it with my last Gillette Nacet from the Slinger (thanks Gene!!!) :hi5:
Not in the photo, is the Captain's Choice Bay Rum Balm that topped off the Old Salt.

Best one since Monday...fuck that weird angle I was trying for. Just rode the bar again, 2 passes, BBS. Put the og handle back on since I don't need the maneuverability, just hold it like normal. Give me hope for the Dart handle too. G Plat new was awesome, was bugging me thinking they weren't gonna work for me in this razor.

So, I've decided artist club blades are good for 3 shaves for me. I don't need to be a blade conservationist. That said, another stellar shave with the Colonial.

The SV Dolomiti shaved great. Probably the weakest as scent of the SV's, but I knew that going in. It was only $25 shipped on amazon, so I had to jump on it.

The Lather Bros Polar Bear was alright. There's something funky in there. It's also in the soap. Not sure I want to keep using it.

Overall, though. Awesome shave.

Let's go 9.5 based on 2 scents that weren't perfect, but perfect performance and results though.

I can just barely squeeze out three shaves on an AC too. I guess it's because, they only have one edge?
