Yup. Limes are good too.

Not gonna lie, sometimes I put a little Mio in my sparkling water. Rare occasion but man it's tasty. I am mostly a black coffee guy (and water of course). A "treat" is a nice iced black coffee at "insert-coffee-retailer-name-here" with 2 Splenda and some unsweetened almond milk!

I got all the way down to 205 (from 250), but I've started going back to the gym, and now I've bounced back to 210. Stupid muscle mass...

I'm bouncing between 179 and 180, which I'm happy with. Surprisingly the wife and I didn't gain any weight during the move.

Wow lots of success here!
I want in!
If I dropped 30 I'd be so happy- but it's been 20years of needing this. Hell, even 10-15 makes a big difference to my well being &quality of life

I actually eat well, exercise often, and typically stick with zero water
My vice is the 4th meal late night and/or late night ice cream.

Thanks. Something clicked in me exactly 3 weeks ago. i wasn't hungry, so i went with that and ate a bunch of salads and crap that day. It held. I'm eating a ton of very healthy meals a day. Portion control and Gym 4 times a week.

Major goal completed!

Started last Sept, 317 lbs. Joined gym, main workout on elliptical & swimming, eating better, etc - down about 70 lbs now. Set goal of completing the Mile Swim at my sons' Scout Summer Camp in July. Was able to swim a mile in the gym as of a couple months ago, but knew that doing it at altitude (I live ~827' and the camp is above 6500') would be a much more difficult venture. I was right, but...

...and yea, I'm a proud pappa

Image

...my boys have been busting it out, too - this is us at Summer Camp in July 2016

I really am diggin the fact that I am rubbing off on people with my results. My Dad has lost 18 lbs doing my thing, my good friend has lost 20 after seeing it come off me and some co workers are jumping on board as well.

Feels good. :)

That's awesome Tom, inspiring others with your weight loss!

Guy came up to my drummer and asked him when we got a new bass player. I've been the bassist for over 3 years, but apparently I look like a replacement of my fat self.

Great work Steve! That is amazing.

I hope that the swimming and kick board have helped the back issues too. I know I was the one that pushed it on you.

As for me, I'm looking forward to the cooler months so I can get that 5lbs back. I look like a Ethiopian at 5'10" and 152lbs.. But goddamn does the heat just wreck my appetite.

Thanks Paul - yep, you really helped pushed me on the swim thing. Has helped tremendously with the back issues, and I've managed to fully kick the opiate poison I was taking daily for 5 years. Another cool fact about the weeklong camping I just came back from - I walked well over 50 miles in those 6 days I was up there, with no need for pain meds other than the normal over-the-counter stuff.

150 lbs - holey cow, mang - I've almost lost half a pablo

...in the spirit of the 'count' threads going on, let's get a count of how many pounds have been lost by the GAB Cannonballers. I'll start.

My knee hurts more than ever. I'm going to see some people in the next couple of weeks. This sucks.

My clothes fit better than they did on 3-25-17 though.

Sounds like a win to me, Gene. It's not all about the pounds - part of it is redistributing weight ratio of fat & muscle.

What's going on with your knee?

Left knee = perfect.

Right knee = feels fine until I stand for 30 minutes or walk 1 mile. Then, I get a deep, throbbing pain near the tibio-fibular junction. Nothing brings relief except sitting down, and giving it time.

It's been this way for 6 years.

I suspect it has to do with a freak accident where I tripped in the garage and fell on a concrete floor. I wasn't even drinking.

It's truly debilitating, and I'm about to lose my shit. I'm so sick of this. I walked like 5 miles in Chicago last weekend, and it was the worst day of my life.

I've tried orthopedic doctors (fucking clueless). physical therapy(made it a LOT worse). drugs(no effect). chiropractors.(temporary relief until he started making me do therapy type stuff) orthotics. (not working) supplements.(can't tell) ice.(nope)

The orthopedic doctor took an x ray, and said she didn't see anything.

I think she may be a fucking moron. I think I'm going to try a local chiropractor who does x rays next.

I'm ready to just tell a surgeon, CUT IT OPEN AND FIGURE IT OUT>
