It shaves really nice, reminds me of the SLOC but a tad more aggro.
My only issue is that the ends are longer than most razors - they're about 1/8" to 3/16" beyond the blade so, for me, trimming across the grain, under my nose, is a little more difficult than with most razors.
It definitely gives good shave.

This Dorco 301 SUCKS. I thought it would be good given the track record of the non-Korean Dorcos. The Vietnam factory has their shit together on the Titan and Primes, but damn. This thing SUCKS. Might be worse than the Korean 301. I nicked my lip, and got some irritation on my neck. fuck these. Time to give 99 blades away.

APR FLorian. always good

Myrsol anything = good.

Blackbird open comb might be a bit much for the Bladescapade. Back to the safety bar for shit blade tests.

Nice to know they suck.

Speaking of that, dude I PIFd all those Bic Chromes to hit me up with a bunch of pics and showed me they were counterfeits.

Makes me wonder if the real deal shaves great and those were just really substandard copies.

Well, FWIW, they shaved just like the ones I got in 2007. Those may have been fake too.

Shit, even Bic disposables suck dick compared to Gillette Disposables.

I'm done with Bic blades forever.

Getting my $ out of this IG win. If I could have smelled/used this first, I would have paid in a second. This shit is gonna last for most of a year and I've used it 10+ times.

I'd put this below B&M's Excelsior base, probably equal to Glissant, just a sick base. AS is all kinds of (excuse the term Gene) skin food, shit just feels great and works.

GB just badass, best $ I ever spent on a brush.....if you have a TDR knot then you know.

Timeless straight awesome, and that's the last thing I'm gonna say about it......I've used this blade/razor/handle combo for well over a month now, and it just doesn't get better for me. This is the ultimate shave so far in my journey. I can grab a 2 pass DFS or 3 pass BBS with no nicks or weepers, and that was all I was looking for.

I got a vie long horse hair brush.

It’s the most awful thing I’ve ever experienced.

It feels like cheap badger hair but with needles in the middle.

It smells like a turd rolled in mothballs.

I hate it more than the dorco 301. Wretched. Worst shave purchase in a very long time. I’m going to probably throw it into a tire fire somewhere.

Man, sorry you weren't happy with yours!
I paid extra for de-pooping service and to have a team of geisha girls soften the bristles with a one week nipple-rub break in process.

Mine feels like it's between boar and badger but, closer to boar.
I can't remember when I bought it... don't remember it smelling too bad.
Got mine from BullGoose.

SOTD: Really good one today.

My face was actually kind of fucked up from yesterday's Dorco Disaster.
back to the safety bar for Bladescapade week.
Astra Platinum with old screen printing. Pretty great shave. Go figure.
Vito's green from the Kilo Block. This stuff is snow white when it's new. Who knows how old that chunk was that I had a few years ago. Shaved great.
Chatillon Lux Admiral Aftershave Toner. Unreal. Very excited. Maybe my favorite CL scent, or at least tied with Bon Vivant and Sni Mato. The toner has helped my neck feel better after yesterday. I normally hate non-alcoholic aftershave, but this stuff is special. I also have the Bon Vivant Toner, so I knew what I was getting into.

Overall a great shave. 10/10

1. I think I was trying to meet the free shipping at WCS.
2. I wanted to try horse hair
3. Vie Long brushes are made in Spain, so I figured they were good.

Dude, I can't believe you won another contest. Shit, I can't believe I won that brush.

Lather Bros stuff is really good. I love the Flamingo Trance soap. High quality.

Still loving the way I smell at 1pm from this CL Admiral. It's as good as it gets for aftershave.

I kind of want to get the DG CL Admiral soap now, but I have a feeling it's sold out everywhere. :(

There was only like 25 people that entered, and there were 5 winners, pretty good odds lol. Tagged you in it. This is supposed to be their summer type scent, neroli and pomegranate and shit. I'll give it a shot, glad to hear they're good.

SC just good stuff, should use it more often.....Arctique a go to....not as long lasting as Terror but way more brutal. Get this shit on your hands and forget, it's always an icy shocker when you go to wash your hands. GB breaking in nicely.

Dude, I'm guilty of not using enough soap commander lately. They are incredible.

There are just too many awesome soaps. period.

I've fully fallen back in love with TFS and Italian soft soaps in general. Summer is perfect for Italian soap and oily skin. It's like it was made for me.

Jumped into the FB live feed with Shane and asked him directly about price point....he said they're still figuring it out but it'll be premium lol...said he'd 'try to keep it reasonable'.

Also said it'll be regular production, just under Razors on his menu, not a separate thing or company. Said he'd keep making them as long as people buy them.

Serial numbers for each razor, starting at 2000, OG guy doesn't know exactly when the original numbers stopped.

No separate parts......have to buy the entire razor, said he might change that in the future, but doesn't think so.

Also Gene, titanium Blackbird....it's in production.

Dude he's working on a Schick injector sized SE too....that's the last one in his lineup...says he wants to have a solid core lineup and then start doing weird runs of 100 or something.

This razor/blade combo kind of sucked. I'm so on the fence with Slants. I can't tell if I love them or hate them.

This soap is apparently pretty coveted. It was good. Great, sweet cherry scent, without smelling like cough medicine. Verdict is out on the performance and whether it felt like it was burning. May have been the shitty blade/razor fooling me.

Prada Aftershave = kick ass.

I'm giving today an 8/10. Not very smooth.

Uncharacteristically cloudy and cool today, don't think it even hit 80....this is not a summer scent for me, it's heavy and dark as fuck. Worked today tho.....and the MM base is elite shit. SMBD on 7 shaves, gonna toss it tomorrow, ain't risking anything after 8.
