Decent sotd.

Boy this is a strange razor. (Rr baby smooth) Got a decent shave though. It’s all blade, but no gap. So bizarre. It feels like a disposable. Not bad. Just different. Haven’t decided if I love it or hate it. There’s nothing like it.
This soap rules. This aftershave is the best ever.

Pakistani window scraper in my Sabre.
Actually worked alright. Not as good as ptfe gem, but shavable.
Good soap. Good aftershave.

Proraso Yellow Foam FTW.
RR Mudder Focker - I always forget how nice the RR splashes are. Beautiful scent. Performance is just right.
Sabre - nuff said.
10/10. great shave!

Always forget how well TFS does for me....this was 45 seconds of stuff and then great lather. I really love this scent too. I might 3017 this.
Really enamored with Roam lately, might have to find this soap cause this scent is awesome. P hates it but the fuck ever.

Dude, Stirling Glacial is pretty darn cold. Moreso than Snakebite. Not the best for shower shaving since it drops down onto my pecker. Scent was okay. It shaved fine. This probably won't make it into the rotation. I don't know.
Barberia Bolognini Vigoroso. YES! This smells like Paco Rabanne 1 Million. Nice warm amber scent. Just like Razorock Gold, but better. Feels great. I would buy this again.
Rocking the ATT Windsor/Timeless. This is the medium plate, and it really doesn't shave all that close. I don't know. I've had a couple of less than perfect shaves with it. We'll see.
Still a great overall shave. 9/10

So, here’s the project:
I previously mentioned my desire to have a large disposal unit. A big plastic bucket, with a slit cut into the lid, essentially. Well, one trip to Home Depot later, and I am sitting on the project of the night. It’ll coincide with a SLOC/Cremo Reserve/7 O’Clock black/42 shave.

Right on! Home Depot blade bank!!!
Bought three of these, a few years back... they take about two years to fill....

out fucking standing. unbelievable SOTD:

Uncle Walter is the shit. It never fails to amaze me.
This infinity brush is awesome. I love it.
This razor is damned amazing. Why in the hell don't I use it more? I really missed the AC blades. So sharp.
This aftershave is KILLER. It's like Nautica Competition with a raging incense note on top. Just sick!
One of my favorite shaves in a VERY long time.
10/10 100% solid.

You can get Uncle Walter from a great seller on ebay called "1999M300"
or, you can get it at Italian Barber.
Personally, I would get it at Italian Barber, but you need to buy $45 more worth of stuff to get free shipping. This is easy to do. They have tons of great stuff. Focus on their Italian stuff.(Furbo, Barberia Bolognini, Proraso, Omega, Fatip, etc) They are the exclusive North American Distributor for lots of cool stuff. That said, their prices for USA artisan stuff is $2 more than everywhere else because of the weaker Canadian dollar.

Stuff to get:
Proraso Green Splash ($10)
Razorock splashes (these are highly underrated if you like simple splashes without a bunch of crap inside)
Razorock What the Puck soaps (some are $2.50)
razorock brushes (These are like $15)
Maybe a Fatip razor. (some are like $22)
Tcheon Fung SIng Rasozero Agrumella (Lemon) ($5)
It's too bad the Furbo classic big bottle aftershave is sold out. That's good stuff. Better than the original Floid Blue, IMO. Buy that on ebay when you get the uncle walter soap.

BTW, Groomatorium has a bunch of TFS stuff for way cheap.
The only negative, their stock can be pretty old sometimes, which isn't the best thing for soft soaps.

I freaked out when I read that Uncle Walter was sold out at IB!!!
I've been meaning to get some Uncle Walter aftershave... luckily they still had some so, I ordered a bottle along with a tube of Poraso Green... haven't had any Poraso Green in a few years. PSYCHED!!!!

Holy fuck this was refreshing....never tried TOBS before, this is softer than a soap but not cream soft. Smells EXACTLY like a just cut grapefruit. Loaded up great, had a sick lather inside of 30 seconds that lasted enough for 4 passes. Arctique for that summer blast, I'm cold and it's 90+ degrees out.
B&M Terror incoming, it's gonna have a lot to live up to concerning summer shave excellence with this combo around.
Fantastic shave, 10/10

I'm on it!
So, my best bud, he's a fellow wet shave guy, and a jeweler by trade.
He brought home a small sonic cleaner from his shop that he keeps around to toss his razor in occasionally.
It comes out looking pretty again, without a hint of soap scum after just a minute or so.
Are you guys doing anything to keep your razor shiny and clean?

I wasn't going to buy terror after having my dick freeze off in the shower with Stirling Glacial.
Had some drinks.

I use so many razors, they never get scummy.

Seriously, I think I just sprayed scrubbing bubbles from under the sink onto my razor in the sink, and scrubbed it with an old toothbrush designated for razor cleaning. No way I'm buying a machine to do that. I don't remember the last time I scrubbed a razor I wasn't planning on selling. That said, my Blue Hawk has soap scum all over it. The Italian soaps are particularly scummy (especially proraso). I think the super fats in the USA artisan soaps guard the razor from soap scum accumulation.

SOTD:
Classic Italian soap.

So, my TFS kick. This is my first time with the OG green can eucalyptus. The scent is awesome. Liek a stronger version of SottoZero. Lather was very nice. Performance was meh. Not sure I want to use this again. It was ok.
RR New York. I would buy this again. So clean. It's based on Polo Sport.
ATT SE-1. What a great razor. I really like aluminum. It lets me decide how much pressure to apply vs. steel boat anchors that automatically fall into my face.
AP shave Co handle, TurnNshave angel knot = still awesome.
Overall 8/10, just because I'm hungover, and this soap is an iffy performer that is style over function.

Exactly why I like my Gillette Blue Tip; light weight aluminum handle makes it easy to wield.
Although it's made of steel, the GEM MicroMatic is also very light.
SOTD 7-12-19

I wasn't really happy with the way the Nacet was working with the Blue Tip, but after the job was done, 9/10
The Bigalow Bay Rum really feels nice - not sure why they call it Bay Rum when it smells like Polo!
Used my Vie Long Horse Hair Brush. It's smaller than the RazoRock Synth and a bit firmer... does a swell job!
The old Sony 4 mega pixel camera has focus issues.
