todays rotation, i normally just put on a album and listen to it all.
i get to listen to alot of music thru the day, i also listen to different stuff some days thats not metal.

The new Steven Wilson album. Guthrie Govan playing on it and the live show next month is a nice bonus.

After listening to it, I can say it's well worth checking out. Brilliant new album. I forgot Marco Minneman was on drums as well.

Listening to this all day today. I have to say though while I was stoked that Marco and Guthrie were on the recording for this one, I don't think the Guthrie fits as well as I expected. Those signature Guthrie runs that are fine for his solo stuff and Aristocrats just don't sit right with me on this album.
Listen to 'Drive home' around 6:30-7 and it turns into a mess. 'The Watchmaker' has a section around the 5:40 mark that is just too much as well. IMO the leads provided by Theo Travis on Grace for Drowning were all that was needed here again.
I would give it 4 stars to Grace for Drowning's 5 stars in my mind. I still can't wait to see the show in May though.
