I'd just get in there. The most important thing in team games is communicating effectively and maximising your looted loadout between players.
I was in with my friend last night who hadn't played since 1.0 dropped and he was rusty, and not the best shot in the first place. He gave me his kar98 and 8x as he was out of practice, which I swapped for an S12K and ext mag. He kept a squad busy in the hills to the north of Chumacera, as no one wants to get too close to an S12, while I ran flank and dropped the squad as they had target fixation, thinking they'd found a lone player. I was working on the 3rd guy before they even knew what was going on. It can be fun dropping in as 1 man squad too. I'm yet to get a 4 man squad wipe yet but I've come close.

Nice.... I find that on Xbox getting guys with head sets is hit or miss... I tried a few squad games when I first got it and no one was talking.... the last time I tried I did fall in to a squad where everyone was talking BUT my internet connection was shit and I got booted lol... hopefully now that the internet is sorted out I'll have better luck lol

Hit up reddit and look for some guys to play with regularly and you'll stomp.

This. Also Vault Dude has a Discord server with like 8,000 people playing any given time; I’ve yet to wait longer than 1 minute to jump in a server and type what I’m looking for (18+, no militants, noobs welcome, FPP, etc) and people join immediately. It’s a blast and much better than randoms. Marc, you can use Discord on your phone if you want to, there’s an app for it. Just use your phone headphones/mic. That way you know for a fact everyone is gonna have a mic....I’ll link that server when I get home, there’s a special ‘looking for a team for Xbox’ server.

I want to play this so badly. Putting together a PC soon right now I don't have anythign that will handle it.

Winner winner chicken fucking dinner on solo! I landed on the military base outskirts. Those houses are usually safer and have good loot. Got a m16 and a 4x zoom and a scar with a holo. Kinda hung with a Jeep on top of a hill there. Didn't see much action. Was forced to cross the bridge and ended up basically where the end circle would be. Killed 3 guys and the 4th got ate by the blue wall FTW haha. I haven't even played in like 4 days.

I'm on xbone btw.

Got home and ate and remembered this match and you asking about the replay. Just watched it from his View; dude was cheating like a motherfucker. He had one of the hacks where you could see where everyone was at all times. Fuckin cock knocker.

Had a $100 GameStop card, grabbed a Steam controller. Half controller half mouse....took a minute to set the bindings but I think once I get used to it this will work out pretty well. It’s pretty intuitive.

That's shitty. At least they can be reported from match replays now and they're getting aggressive with handing on bans.

I've not tried a steam controller. I nearly got one for elite dangerous but then thought better of it. Tried knocking my sensitivities down another 5 points last night as I was starting to feel comfortable with it. Immediate nope so I bumped them back up 3. I'll try again in 5 hours play time.

It’s working so far....had to adjust sens for it but I got a couple kills first game. The dude that recommended it to me uses it for Elite Dangerous lol.

I’m a fan so far, was a PITA mapping it tho...had to try a few different configs for it to find something I can use.

2 days ago I saw a new update to the Test Server. So I logged on, couldnt find a server, but it handed me some sort of early bird award & I ended up with something like 120,000 points!

Steam controller is working. Got the sensitivities dialed in pretty well, just took 3rd in solo with 3 kills. Diggin this thing.

Got 6 kills last game, cracked the top 10% for FPP squads.

lol, u kiddn? Didnt see anything say that, so I was gonna be cool & not use it yet! LOL, now I cant log into the test server & I guess aawl that shits GAWN!!

On the upside, I got killed several times yesterday by a couple chinese dudes that were teaming.

Another time, I got 3 kills.. thats best Ive got in a long time!

On another note, I watched Zo’s vid on the VSS and I’m fuckin MURDERING with it now. I love that fuckin thing, just lay in the weeds and pick em off. No one has any idea where it’s coming from, I killed two guys in a row, 2nd guy was chasing 1st guy so he was injured, killed him with two shots, 1st guy thought he killed him so he stopped to loot him and I took him too lol

tried to play last night.... seems that the Xbox servers I would normally connect to are stupid busy or just slow around 8pm.... connections were real buggy.... quit and played Battlefield 1 with no problems..

Annoyingly I've only found the VSS once since watching wj101's video and I was immediately minced into a fine paste by a tommy gun about 15 seconds later as it was a spicy drop on mirimar power station

Get home, fire it up, first game murdered by a cheater 11 mins in. Never saw dude, never heard him, nothing. Watched the replay, dude was running right at me in a building miles away from anything....stops 100 meters out and waits for me to exit the building and immediately headshots me. I watched the replay and could barely even see myself; there’s no way he didn’t know I was there.

No recoil, no sway, nothing. Just headshots all the way. Fucker lol

What mode do you guys prefer??? FPP, TPP?

I like Third better.. you can see out your car & shit.. otherwise I wouldnt mind FPP...

I actually really like TPP until the fuckin cheaters show up; if that happens twice or more I’m running FPP for the rest of the night man. Can’t stand getting peeped around corners; in FPP if a dude wants to peep me he actually needs to stick his head up over a rock or whatever and I actually have a chance to see his ass, instead of getting sniped by some camper that wasn’t even looking for me and just saw me by accident.

Seems like there’s a lot more hackers running TPP as well.....I’ve never gotten a killcam on FPP that was even remotely suspect.

FPP unless I'm playing with one of my greener friends who is more comfortable with TPP. I tend to play a lot of one man squad and that is a total cluster fuck in TPP as any half decent squad will have all directions covered when moving so it's very hard to be mobile and get the drop on them. In FPP it's much easier as they can't do this and there is of course no camp peeking.

Bought the game this weekend. Holy shit. Delivers.

Had a bunch of fun over the weekend, I suck pretty bad but I managed to get 3rd place twice. Still getting used to the mechanics of the game, maybe I will try a few hot zone spawns next.
