Don't you guys realize that you're all playing for 2nd place? I scored 170 pts!!

and now I've assured I'll score 50 pts next week

Though, I think people are finally going to realize he's just Matt Stafford. Massive arm, will put up some gaudy #s. Also likely to throw the ball to the other team at any particular time. If Ryan & Stafford didn't have Jones & Megatron....think how ugly their stats could look.

Nah I don't consider them the same. Ryan doesn't seem to make the same boneheaded mistakes that Stafford makes. Plus Ryan has had to do it with mostly no defense to speak of for most years while Stafford at least had a serviceable defense for a few years.

Yeah, I'll agree, they aren't the same. Ryan is less prone to boneheaded mistakes. I do think his numbers make him seem better than he really is though. A schmuck doesn't put up 4k yard seasons like him I agree. But at the same time I think he's more a product of really good receivers and system (which is fine, most teams would take it, I'd take him and his 2.4% INT rate over Cutler lol) than someone like Rodgers or Brady who you can apparently put anyone out there at receiver and they make them look great.

That is a valid point - some quarterbacks make their receivers look good - others rely on their receivers to make THEM look good.

McNabb was like that - if he didn't have someone that could catch overthrown, underthrown, balls behind them, etc. - the plays didn't get made consistently.

I'm an Eagles fan that has Matty Ice on BOTH of my fantasy teams. Last night sucked in every way, because I lost my GABF game AND the Eagles lost.

Eff you Bryan!

Man, that was a close game...I kept watching for Jordan Matthews to get me some catches...Then Matty Ice would do his thing...It was frustrating.

Commisioner:

There have been 3 transactions since my last. Per the league rules, I should be 7th on the waiver wire, not 10th. It looks like ESPN didn't fix this bug from last year.

I'll look into it when I get a chance but it would also matter where you were on the waiver wire before and how many transactions you had.

How did you guys let me end up with Tyler Eifert though? Dude seems legit with the amount of targets he got on Sunday. Only question is whether he can continue with the extra attention on defense. I'll take the gamble.

I picked up a defense before the first week - and my waiver order didn't change.
I picked up a RB this week - and I did drop though.
:idk:

Well, I figured Maclin wouldn't have a great game vs that Denver D.

Now, since Bryant is down I just gotta figure out what to do instead.

Like, I think Tate against Minnesota has potential...but...he's also day to day. GAH WHY DO I DO THIS?!??! I HATE IT! I HATE IT!!!!!

That defense was probably considered a free agent and isn't subject to the waiver order. The RB you picked up was automatically subject to waivers because it was after the week of games. Between Monday and Thursday, every player is essentially subject to the waiver order. After that they get converted to being a free agent, where you can add them without losing your waiver order. I.E. If you look at the QB's now they are all FA (Free Agents) because they haven't played where Alex Smith is subject to waivers because he had his game yesterday.

Aaaaahhh!! - thanks for the clarification!
makes sense - and now I understand why you may want to wait and pick someone up on Saturday - especially if you are saving your 'good' waiver order in your pocket for somebody popping up that you want to grab.

After Peyton looked so old and feeble in game 1, I benched him in game 2. :cop:

Then he throws 3 touchdowns last night. Dammit!

I about gave up on the season after last night's game...If you have ever been let down so many times by a city's sports teams, you'd understand lol

Man, that was rough. Andy Reid had a rough time play calling. Charles chooses to fumble at the worst time (is there a good time to fumble?). And that Denver Defense is BRUTAL. Everyone knows Alex Smith's limitations now. You don't have to worry about the deep pass, rush hard, cover the short routes and he'll give you opportunities.

However, all is not lost. Your defense is amazing and you do still have Jamaal Charles. THough, why did they keep rushing Kniles Davis, he of the 3.0 YPC?

I feel your pain man, Houston born and raised. Always good good enough but never great for so long. We're making a QB change after 1 freaking game!!

Don't even get me started on the Astros losing the lead for our division!! :phair:  :bang:

Vintage Andy Reid. He knows something you don't, that's why he did it. I saw that for over a decade in Philly.

By the way, speaking of teams letting you down:

2008 - Phillies win World Series. Before that? 1980

1983 - Sixers win Championship, nothing since.

1974 and 1975 - Flyers win back to back Stanley cups. A few Finals appearances since, no cup.

1960 - The last time the Eagles won a Championship, 2 SB appearances, no ring.

Yeah, you're right. He used to do it in Philly when he'd throw 40+ times every single game no matter what. And other things. He's one of those coaches who is both really good and totally overthinks things.

I deleted your other stuff because its depressing.

My team is a dumpster fire and I can't make the proper decision on who to start to save my life.

*Looks at Pats defense on his bench.*

edit: Also, any player you have going against the Bears? Start them. The Bears defense is a myth. Especially the 2ndary.

Fitz is balling. Thankfully I'm not facing him. Unfortunately Julio Jones is balling too and I'm facing him. I shoulda put Steve Johnson and Gio in.
