You know who rips? LOG.

Post by RyanDistortion »

I'm very late to the party. Wasn't ready for Lamb of God 10 years ago, or so. New Colossal Hate came on my Amazon shuffle in my car (which is my best sound system). My woofer started WORKING and the riffs are just fucking killer. Definitely my new "head nod and get shit done" band.

One of my favorite bands for the gym. Vocals can get a little tiresome after awhile for me but fuck if they don't have some of the best riffs in the business.

Seen them live 4 or 5 times dating back to the New American Gospel tour. They're always killer as fuck

Yeah I really dig them. I took a long break but grabbed the most recent album which slays and it rekindled my relationship with them!

I am so, so over Randy's voice. Beyond over. And not a huge fan of replacing Chris Adler. These guys are pretty much in Slayer mode at this point where they churn out the same thing over and over and I get it.

Its true.
And yeah Chris was one of the best reasons to listen to them and made the live shows great.

Also LOG rolls down stairs alone or in pairs.

They're def a band I've caught myself drawing influence from on occasion, but I need to be in the right mood to listen to them.

Some of their stuff is so good that it's like they're the heirs to the Pantera throne, and some of it less inspiring, IMO.

I LOVE some of it, and am indifferent to some of it. Love, love, love the band. I'm just sorta ok with Randy.

I’ve already replied in this thread, but I just read it as “You know who rips log,” and immediately thought, “I just finished one a minute ago.”

Never really got into them, maybe I should give them a chance.

Absolutely killer band, especially live. Seen them about 4 or 5 times myself and they always delivered. Actually met Randy and Willie a few years back. It was the day before the Unholy Alliance tour date in Detroit with Slayer and they stopped at the mall we worked in. Randy came into our store and hung out for a bit and BS’ed with the whole staff for an hour. Signed our CD books and also bought some video games. Super cool, very down to earth dude. Willie was hanging out around the mall and came by signed some stuff for us too.

The next day I saw them and Slayer tear it up at Cobo hall.

Album wise I like most of everything they’ve put out but I’ve got to be in a mood for it these days. Unless it’s As the Palaces Burn. I can listen to that any time. Put on Ruin and compulsively I need to blast the rest of thst album.
