Well, that sucks. I mean, I get it. They need everything to be as by the book as possible because the slightest thing going wrong has every chance of destroying the possibility of ever launching humans from US soil to space again. Still, this feels like that first plan to have sex got canceled right as her panties were about to come off.

I've been avoiding this dumbass movie on Hulu for a few weeks at least. No desire to watch it for whatever reason.

The movie's actually not too bad. Much more seeing his head space than seeing history happening.

Interesting. Duly noted. I am sort of biopic'd out. Maybe I'll give it a go.

I fucking hate musicals too but I actually enjoyed Rocket Man.
Had I known it was a musical ahead of time I probably wouldn't have watched it

My window of musical enjoyment is super small. Like, Grease, um; Xanadu (probably one of Grime's favorites); mayyybe Moulin Rogue?

XANADU! I need to dig that back out again. An hour later and they still aren't out of the capsule. Man, being an astronaut must be boring as shit sometimes.

Jeff Lynne/ELO are great. He did some soundtrack work in a movie back in the day called Electric Dreams that I dug the sh!t out of. I need to find it and give it a watch. I've been on a retro-flick-kick during COVID.

My mom's current husband is named Bruce and he's one of the most . . . ugh. Nobody can stand the dude. I hear that song on constant loop in my head when I'm around him just to give myself something to focus on other than his banal babbling about nothing.
