How's the Alleriges this spring ???

Post by Pepi »

Worst year for allergies in years  Trees have blossoms the size of an apple. I've got one very bad plugged up ear and under my right eye my sinuses are swollen. Happened after mowing the yard (Even with a mask on) :zomby:

I'm getting this sinus thing under control. Afrin and Pseudoephedrine is working. Neti pot helps also. Man, I feel better today.

Yup. Been brutal most of the winter around here due to thaw/freeze/thaw cycles kicking up dust every week or so. Now that things are blooming, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU! Neti pot and allergy pills every day or I get so plugged up I feel like dying.

I've had to take a bit more claritin than usual. The weak winter made for lots of spring time bugs and pollen.

I used to have moderate to worse allergies a few years ago - strange how you (I) move into and out of them.
Last was probably a 3-4 year stretch where they bothered me - to the point I was taking a Benadryl every morning.

About 1-2 years ago - they just tapered off - haven't been taking anything at all this year - or even bothered by them (knock on wood).
I get the flu shot every year - and until this year - haven't really been sick.

This year - the fake covid going around had me sick for almost a month.
To the point I got tested (negative) - but it would be interesting to take the antibody test.

Never.

Although I did catch a mild cold last fall right after Mom passed away. I attributed that to all of the stress and grief.

My allergies have ramped up big time. They are messing with me. All of the claritin and allegra are making me feel hungover when i wake up. I'm feeling like shit, and it's affecting my mood.

Flonase and Zyrtec / Claritin are my go-to. Haven't had massive attacks in YEARS since starting Flonase.
