Secret Santa - UPDATE

Post by IndyWS6 »

OK, so , no names...

My Secret Santa from a ways back didn't hit the target. We chatted and I was OK with that. Shit happens; I haven't missed a meal in a long time, I'm not going to judge, because - who knows what other people are dealing with. I (seriously) care more about people being able to provide for themselves and their families than I do about getting things for myself. But... I walked out my front door this morning to deliver some food to my neighbor and found this on the front porch. Damn near shed a tear. Y'all are great peeps. Love you, Brother... :thu:

I don't mind outing myself. I was the lame ass that got complacent along with a little bit of life stuff that wasn't bad by any means but distracted me from hobby stuff. But it was mainly complacency. Glad it made it safely and quickly.

The Greek seasoning is bomb on steaks. I use it very liberally and don't put anything else on them. Grill only. In a pan the seasoning comes off.

And that Dale's liquid seasoning... I really like the flavor but haven't found it's perfect use(s) yet. It's been an experimental thing for me. Sometimes I'll cut it with water because it brings too much flavor depending on what you're doing with it. Great on ribs. Also great as part of a marinade.

The sweet & spicy sauce is fairly new to me but delicious. Great with pot stickers.

And that taco sauce is bomb. It's kinda like taco bell sauce actually, but better.

So glad to have closure on this.

Yarb - your gift from Paul was pretty sweet, too. This was good to have been part of.

And, I'm glad that Mort (Jeff) has come back :thu:

Also, Mark (IndyWS6) gets big props for the way he handled this. He was firstly concerned that his gifter might be having troubles and couldn't make good on delivery, and very understanding about the whole situation.
