The what are you playing? thread

Post by Zozobra »

Blah blah coronavirus lock down. We need entertainment. I'm turning to games and I'm on a survival horror trip at the moment. I've just done a quick run through 2011 classic Dead Space 2 and next up I'm going to do Metro 2033 & Last Light redux as I've heard good things but I've never played them properly. So GGF'ers what are you playing to pass the time and escape the other members of your household?

Playing COD Modern Warfare. Mostly Ground War to level up sniper rifles for Warzone.

I’ll do Fortnite with my brother cause his kids love it so he plays it. Mostly it’s a drinking game for us lol

Nothing... Like many, I'm working from home but, for my situation, my house is 20 minutes from where I actually live. (I have lived with my GF for more than 10 years, but still have a fully functioning house [e.g. "Man House"]). I get up in the morning, shower and dress and drive the 20 minutes to my house where my home office is. I work - far more than I should - and then head back to her house. In normal times, I work 11+ hour days. Not because I have to, but because I am an overachieving idiot  . These days, I do as much, if not more. With no social interaction. To be honest, I'm fucking toast by the end of the day. I drive back to the GF's house, eat some dinner, watch some DVR BS shows and then crash only to do it again the next day.

I have all kinds of options to "play" - and a killer 7.2 1.21GW home theater to pump it through - but zero F'n energy to even care at this point.

I know, whine, whine, whine...

I just completed a second playthrough of Death Stranding. It seemed like an appropriate time. :idk:

Was thinking about picking up the new Doom. I’m impatiently waiting for The Last Of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, and Cyberpunk.

Doing work from home and trying to keep three kids busy has meant almost no time for gaming. When I do, it is either PUBG or an X-Com clone called Phoenix Point.

MLB 2020. 300+ Homers after 2.5 seasons on Rookie. Kid is pissed as he plays on AllStar mode. I hate losing.

I picked up a supernt and sd2snes pro a few months back, replaying my childhood. Currently on earthbound, and super mario rpg (which I have never played longer than about 30 minutes) will be next.
