I live in Chicago, the city not the burbs. Most days I can walk outside of my condo and see people walking all around. With being able to work from home and catching it myself I’m trying to avoid everyone but my wife and our 2 closest friends who live a couple blocks away and are also already sick.
Today I’m going to take the dog to the park because we’re all getting stir crazy but I’m going to wear a mask and keep my distance. While I’m young and healthy there’s plenty of people I care about that aren’t so I’ll do what little I can.
“What little you can” indeed. . First, of course your Dr will say you maybe have it, but it’s ridiculous to suggest that actually confirms it anymore than what you felt before talking to him. Also the regular flu is going around a lot too. And I know a handful of people who think they have it too. And they are also In the city. One of em is a nurse so she got tested for flu, since they will test many for that if there isn’t a covid test available and she had regular flu. Her husband too. Another also got tested for regular flu And had it. So far no confirmed for Covid. Not saying you don’t but c’mon, why do people want to act like they have it when they aren’t confirmed? I’m noticing this for some reason. But if you truly believe you have it, Your actions suggest you should have answered around 3-3-4. Lol
Anyway I believe you can get this AND the regular flu simultaneously so even tho you think you are healthy a double whammy can be a bit much for anyone. So if you have it and say your friends who are “sick” have the regular flu, that’s actually a really bad idea...
But let’s say you do have this cause your answers here are kinda perplexing for someone who just said you are at a 10,10,9 in taking this seriously and doing all kinds of preventative measures. Even tho I think chances you have this are very slim, IF you do, and you are taking this as seriously as you claim why would you go to a park and visit your 2 closest friends (cause they are also sick)? While I’m assuming walking the few blocks. That doesn’t seem hypocritical? since I Think a few pages back you were blasting people not taking it seriously?
I can say for myself, I’m going on with my daily life pretty much unchanged, but I work alone or with my helper. Since restaurants are closed I don’t go out for lunch and bring my own. If I need supplies I go get them. Grocery store the same. I try to remember to wash my hands more
Often, but can’t claim I do a TON more but I make an effort after hitting the grocery There isn’t much scenario I could hang around with a crowd at this point, so even tho I’m not a real big supporter of many of the measures being instilled, I’m being far more “safe” than yourself. And I have no symptoms but if I did?? I honesty would t see any of my friends or family even if we think they already been exposed. So yeah, sorry Biz, but if you are gonna be talking so strongly one this topic I really think you should take a look at your actions for someone who thinks they have it.
