Heard he passed yesterday. Don't know how many of y'all dig/dug his work but dude was a fucking talent. His work with Coltrane was just essential, such a huge part of those records and that sound. His solo stuff was real good too.

Ya he was one of the greatest of all time. Never got to see him either.
