Davis & SF

Post by Zozobra »

Hey guys. I'll be in Davis for a conference for few days and then heading to San Francisco for Friday and Saturday night before heading home. Anywhere I should check out?

Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, and Alcatraz are pretty cool if you wanna be a tourist on Saturday.

I shall check that out and will try and avoid stepping in shit

There is an in-n-out by my hotel. Now that's a tasty burger and just what I needed after 24 hours of traveling.

Take an uber to pier 33 on Fisherman's wharf and walk to the USS Pampanito and then onto the maritime museum. Walk the wharf towards Ghrirardelli's and grab some dessert for later, take the street car to Coit Tower, then go to Goat Hill or Del Popolo for a sourdough pizza, then go to Gary Brawer's guitar repair before he closes, eat your Ghirardelli's then finally Smuggler's Cove for rum or Mikkeller for beer or the Saloon for music and history. The California academy of science museum and the De Young museum are both really good, allocate several hours.
