Bought a house and making some life changes

Post by Maddnotez »

So yeah....I basically stopped logging on forever. Check in on FB sometimes but been dealing with some shit. Got a divorce, kinda stopped playing guitar and took a break from work but.....I bought a house (still closing) back to work and all that.

Not much else to say, but been trying to get back in there. Maybe I should buy an amp or something huh?

Congrats on the house - not only should you buy an amp but, you should build a jam room to put it in. :thu:

 idk what to get. i do need to wait until the houses closes for sure but.....I would rather use my gar credit tbh.

I had an MT15 before all this happened but had to sell. I am heavily considering getting another but I like to try new toys.

Budget probably $1k max unfortunately. And I will probably be making some noise with a few guys so a big amp can't hurt but isn't mandatory.

It's a 1994 100 watt Pittbull Classic (pre-CLX - not a 100/CL). 3 channels, no GEQ. $800 shipped is actually what I'd want for it but I just recently got it back from my studio after not using it for over a year and there is a weird hum going on with it :(

So nm lol, I guess I'ma have to get Fryette to look at it first :(

That isnt a bad idea at all man. Im sure the 50w is more than enough. Need to do some research on that amp vs the 100w or whatever the bigger one is

I actually liked the 50w better than the 100w. Smoother, with more mids. Both amps are great though.

Thanks Hommies.

Hit a rough patch, it happens.

But I should be getting the amp soon and he threw in something amazing that I couldn't believe. Tom is such a good dude.

Should close on the house this month. Ready to get on with it.
