Dude. You’re gonna love him. He’s dark and weird and awesome.

Wait for ‘Of course, but maybe’

“Of course, children with peanut allergies need to be protected from mixed foods so their allergies don’t act up and they die...but maybe....if we all close our eyes for like 3 months this whole genetic problem goes away”

Or

The only thing stopping people from murdering other people is the fact that it really sucks getting caught murdering other people. If it was more like a misdemeanor and you got a ticket in the mail THERE’D BE SO MUCH MURDER

Everybody would murder at least some people, you wouldn’t trust people that didn’t murder

“I never murdered anyone!”

Shut the fuck up Janet

We have a few shows we're lazily watching right now. Once those are over I'm going to go dig up a special or two from him.

Watched a couple of clips from this younger guy Theo Von interviewing Burr. Pretty awkward mismatch of comedian Generations.

I've watched the episode you're talking about; definitely one of the crappier ones.

Wish Louis CK was still doing his thing, he's be right up there with these guys, if not standing alone as the best.

Yeah me too. I don't care who he had a wank in front of. They sat there and watched and said nothing because they were getting something out of it. Once it was "safe" to turn him in, they did. You mean to tell me 2 women couldn't take him in a fight???

Not to mention, he literally asked them if they minded him taking out his cock and they said nothing.

Women and liberal cucks have fucking destroyed comedy. Dark days indeed.

They've ruined a lot more than just comedy, but starting down that list could lead to political bannination, so I'll leave it be.

It’s not about left/right politics.
It’s a minority of annoying people with too much time on twitter and a chip on their shoulder.

Comedy is better than ever and nearly every attempt to cancel anyone has failed.

Your right to a point, but it is the college campus/safe space lefty loon crowd are the bigger root cause that do push this bullshit

There is a lot of great comedy these days, but there are changes as well in the field and in media in general even TV shows from 20+ years are much different in terms of walking a fine line/PC culture etc
^ Good deals with Glizard (ADA), electricdreams (Vetta) Fat Lou (Splawn) Tubesteakfortone (Marshall 3203, Riot pedal) agreed (Hafler-Radial) twisty571 (Mosvalve 962) Orbis Mortis (egnater) ~Abstract~ (JC amp) jn062181 (AXE - FX) ^

maybe but TV is no longer a source of anything really. I haven't had cable for years now, let alone an antenna.

Open/cable TV is dying a slow, agonizing death and they've known it for a long time, so much that every cable provider positioned themselves to become your internet provider as well so they can stay in business when cable/tv implodes. Sports broadcasting is what is sort of keeping it alive but that will switch out completely in no time too.

So if you want comedy there is plenty of it out there now for every taste, dirty or not. No, it's not on "TV" but fuck TV.

And yes, let's keep politics out of the forum. Thanks.
Guitars:

Again they're still a very vocal minority.
TV continues to lose ground while Netflix, YouTube, podcasts, etc continue to gain traction.
Lets not forget all the BS you get from the right on the same shit. "Burn my nikes because football man no standup!"
Again both sides usually fail at cancelling anything and don't get much more done other than trending a hashtag or affecting click bait articles.
I get annoyed by this shit too but its important to remember that social media is distorting its actual prevalence.
I don't know of a single piece of comedy that has been successfully censored or canceled (despite attempts).
Heck look at the Rotten Tomatoes on Chappelles latest special, slammed by the minority of woke critics, loved by majority of people.

Don't let the vocal minority get you down brother.
