Nothing yet. I wanted a rarer color so they're shipping it in from another dealer.

I'll have it on Saturday

yeah that's an awesome car! And I love that PA does not ruin cars by requiring us to install front plates.

Congratulations! It’s my favorite car I’ve ever had. I got mine new 2 years ago and I love it. I’ve already gotten new wheels and tires, done clutch and shifter mods, tuned it, got a downpipe, intercooler, upgraded the clutch to an Audi TTRS one to handle more power, lowered it with spring and dampers, and added a stiffer rear sway bar.

Prepare to spend lots of money on your new hobby

Yeah I can already feel the pull to mod.

For now I'm just going to swap the red badges for black and switch the grill for one with a chrome accent. I don't love the red on green.

Once I've ruined this clutch (this is my first manual) I'll upgrade that. I also want to get the ECU tweaked so the acceleration curve is more linear.

You should be fine with the clutch. GTIs practically drive themselves, very easy and smooth clutch, great car to learn manual on.

What Billy said is true, the stock clutch is nice and I’m sure it’s great to learn on.

I only replaced mine because I’ve done a lot of mods to get more power than the stock clutch could handle.

I got the Integrated Engineering Intercooler. It’s pretty sweet. Next thing for me is possibly IS38 turbo and United Motorsports tune.

I don’t know how to embed images from Flickr on my phone. I’ll try from my computer when I get home. Here’s a like to an album of my car:

Looks awesome, dude. IE makes great stuff. I don't know if I'll ever go is38 but I hear it is like the most reliable turbo. UM is a good tune. I prefer using the Cobb accesport for pro tunes so I can flash to whatever I want to when I have to.
