I'm old enough to have used an 8 track cassette player. Our stereo when I was like age 0-6 was a vinyl/8track/radio. Even when I bought a CD player I would still use it for running the CD player into it via RCA inputs. Used that thing for years.

That does it. I'm gonna produce an album of my own music and put it on 8 track for no one to listen to.

I had one of those. Jacked around with it for years until it finally broke.

I had a ZZ Top record and the soundtrack to Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

True, but just in case anyone is curious...
They sell for $18.00 ea - I get $4.95 so, that's $14.85 to $19.80 per month and I don't have to stock or ship.
These 80's hardcore punk albums were originally released over 25 years ago.

I wonder how many CDs would sell if theses albums were composed of contemporary music and I spent a couple of grand on promotion, advertising and spammed out 200 CDs (with press kits) to radio stations?
