ever since she got a facebook account, she messages me all day long. Not for conversations, that would be fine, but memes, daily prayers, LOLcats, videos, chain messages you name it. Not only that, she also added Kimmi and bombards her too. Kimmi doesn't care but I am sick of it.
She's almost 80 and lives alone so I know she's just bored out of her mind. I don't want to be rude to her at all, but fuck me this needs to stop. How should I approach this without hurting her feelings? Or just deal with it?

I've got the same with my mother in law, though probably not as bad.
I just turned off notifications on the app and "check" it once and awhile.

Billy, even though you & I are only a couple years apart, I come from generations of teenage pregnancies, so I have an 80-ish yr old GRANDMA who does the exact same thing and it drives me crazy.

Man..... the day my Mom added me on Facebook I had the biggest mental conflict lol... I mean.... It's my mom... but... I can be a MAJOR asshole and make fucked up comments and share some messed up shit etc on Facebook so I was apprehensive about adding my Mom knowing that most of that shit she wouldn't like/approve of .... then I realized I do that in real life and she's known me all my life so yeah..... thankfully she isn't a big Facebook user though, every now and then I get a like or comment on a picture or something

My mom friended me when I was still drinking and essentially posting all my thoughts because I wasn't seeing people in public, anymore. I posted some drunk shit, some graphic/uncensored stuff, and she would bring it up to me at the dinner table. Like "Who is Maverick and why does he call you Goose?". I unfriended her for 2 years. She's back now and I hardly post in FB anymore.
