What do you guys think about these? Ive got a friend that does music as a career (he writes a lot of jingles and shit like that out of his house) that uses these and says theyre pretty good with flat response...Just trying to get opinions.

well I love my M-Audio monitors, they're a different model (forgot which model) but similar size. Shit sounds amazing and it's perfect for my 10'x6' room.

Thats good enough for me. Between you digging yours, and Kelly (dude ROFL) doing his music stuff for a living on them, I think Ill stop by this place and grab them on my way home. 100 bucks? Sure!! I need monitors pretty badly lol.

I found that my AV40s turn out very accurate mixes and also sound good for general listening. They're a no-brainer for the price. I highly recommend them.

I've had these for almost 2 years now. They're pretty good, not overbearing in the highs or bass but they will let you hear the mids and vocals in a mix which I like. i see no reason to upgrade until I can relocate to a better room with sound traps.
