RIP Keith Flint

Post by ZEEGLER »

Just heard that Keith from The Prodigy committed suicide. :(

I was a big fan of the Prodigy and enjoyed Keiths vocals and antics.

I've enjoyed some of their tunes and they were pretty fun live. Bummer that hommie died.

I used to see Keith around all the time, and used to drink at the same pub as the prodigy guitarist Jim (who later joined pitch shifter).
Its sad as for me as well as a really really good live show they where a local act too. I even owned some of their studio equipment.

A lot of the current EDM acts were inspired as kids by The Prodigy. They were definitely innovators and ground breakers.

I read a few articles that kept saying he was from a group called "The Prodigy" and not just "Prodigy." Friggen news these days. Speed is more important that accuracy.

It is The Prodigy. That's what the band is called.

I do remember just calling them Prodigy in the mid ‘90s but I think I remember them calling themselves the Prodigy because around the same time the rapper Prodigy was around.
