I figured that was gonna be the excuse for killing her off - she was hiding pills in the freezer and shit before the Valerie Jarrett incident so it made sense

Wait... it this the premise of why she's not on The Connors? Like I know IRL they canned the show but is this how it is being explained on the new show?

Also, I wonder if she is getting "ghost paid" even though not being on the show. Carsey-Warner owned it I think but wonder if she still get money on the new one.

I thought it was pretty good. The other actors are great and can certainly keep the show going. They even brought in Mary Steenburgen as if there aren't enough legit stars there already.

The story with her dying from an opioid overdose made a lot of sense. It blended right in with her pill problem at the end of last season. It was true to the show too. If Aunt Jackie could get beaten by her boyfriend, Roseanne could die from opioids.

I think its crazy to get fired from your own show first and foremost.

I do however think she is still going to get all of her money. She has been in the business for a very long time. Willing to bet she knows how to get a contract and has some very good attorneys.

She said on Rogan that she cut a deal and signed off.
I’m sure she got paid well enough if she was willing to sign off.
Either way it’s still pretty weird overall. While I don’t support really any of her views (lots of weird Zionist conspiracy theory type views especially) I think her getting fired over this wasn’t really the right thing to do.
Sad that a minority of really loud voices on Twitter has this much sway over things these days.

The whole thing is ridiculous IMHO. Yeah, she's crazy as fuck, stop the presses.... wait, she never even pretended not to be crazy af. It's also what makes her funny. I can't for the life of me think of what she did to get fired.. lol.. I know I can Google it and get reminded, but fuck that. It's just proving a point that no one really should give a shit. I sincerely can not remember . I can guess that it was racist. or Homophobic.. I'm sure it was one of the hot button topics that people live to rage out over.
