Most of you know that I have a frackining long commute to/from work. I keep a stack of CDs in the car and I listen to college, commercial and public radio.
Every once in a while, the Jazz station plays something cool enough to buy. Never heard of Horace Silver before but, I just bought a 12 album, box set on 6 CDs for $15 https://www.amazon.com/12-Classic-Album ... ace+silver

Can't believe I missed Horace but, really glad I stumbled upon him. His songs are jumping, not repetitive and they don't have any of those cheesy scale runs that you hear in a lot of jazz tunes. Looking forward to this one!
