MY DAW IS DEAD
Motherboard for my DAW died. Bought one the few motherboards available for the Q6600 quadcore chip. Fucking DPC latency is through the roof on a barebones install. Tried everything I could find on Google. Just a shitty chipset I guess. Now I have to build an i5 machine and I'm broke as fuck.

It Lives. Tweaked some settings and now it's working. Don't know what it was, but all is good now.

Good to hear you are back up and running. And by DAW are you referring to an actual program or a computer dedicated to recording? I am new to all this stuff so maybe I am just not understanding...I notice you also mention having to build an i5 machine. I love my AMD chips

Guitars: Early 90's Ibanez EX Series, Late 80's B.C. Rich Mockingbird, Fairly new Epiphone LP Custom
Amp: JCA22H with 4x12 Ibanez Cab
No pedals or any real skills...

By DAW I was referring to the actual PC. I liked AMD back in the day, but firmly in the Intel camp nowadays.
