Hello everyone,
I'm sequencing and mixing the drums for a song and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to listen to my drum mix in progress. I'm going for a pretty natural but punchy kind of drum sound, although I do want a somewhat forward kick sound because there's occasionally some brief double kick. I know that it's impossible to really gauge how the drums are going to really sit in the mix until the other instruments and recorded, so I'm not necessarily asking for an in-depth critique of their mix, but rather I'd like to know if anything just sounds noticeably 'off' during a quick listen.
Here's a little clip.

The song will switch to a quiet (semi-clean) part at 0:25 and then back to a louder, in your face instrumentation at 0:58, btw.

Re: How do these drums sound?
I'm by no means an expert, so I am not sure my opinion will help you, but I thought these drums sounded very good.
That said, like you mentioned yourself already, it's necessary to hear them in a mix with all the other instruments to hear if they work well within a mix.

Good job. It'll sound really good with the rest of the stuff.
