Mark IIC+ type build
Transformers are going to show up today, I have a custom aluminum chassis getting folded similar to mark specs. The amp will essentially be a mark iic+ with a separate tone stack for cleans. The graphic eq might end up being regular pots instead of sliders but we shall see. I am leaning toward the use of sliders if I am going to do this right.
Heaters will be similar to SLO, but with the heaters run at the centers of sockets instead of outers of sockets. Still debating a few design considerations. I am looking at the large JJ can caps for input filtering, or maybe the smaller axial F&T. I also might have to adjust the heater voltage if it is higher than the 6.3.
This should be fun.

Transformers are quite large... classictone 18004 PT and 18013 OT. Both are nice and heavy, look and feels like quality. I am glad I got these.

Chugging along, I am getting a chassis custom built for this. Rough draft done in .034, they are going to make a welded .08 aluminum version of it. Should be awesome. Still working out some details as for the design, more parts being ordered shortly.

Progress... and quick dry run. Sounds like a MRAK. That aggressive mid crunch with some tight chest punch. Still have to troubleshoot EQ as its not working properly. Gut pics are from yesterday, today I added the EQ and hooked up all the odds and ends. Works and deadly silent - but as I said - EQ knobs all act very funny unless at the middle position.
Still have to install the switches, relays and channel LED's.

Clips soon.. can't get the eq going - I'll just redo it - I wasn't happy with how it turned out anyways.
So I am playing this with the GEQ bypassed.. holy shit this thing sounds pissed off! It wants to reach out and punch you. So juicy and full of harmonics.

Rest of schems... all modified from mkIV schematic. A few mistakes in the schems, but pretty much what I built.

Re: Mark IIC+ type build
I took the chassis out of my Mark III yesterday - was surprised to see the transistors in there. Great timing on this posting - assuming mine is similar to your diagrams above, they must be for the EQ.
Thanks man! Great thread!

The big one is a choke, small one is separate 12V circuit for relays to avoid noise.

Thanks, I still have a bit of work to do on it, tidy it up and make it a bit prettier before making the headshell for it. I'm thinking maybe "a-la fender" tweed.. Should be fun!
