Also, try the Kirkland Bourbon.. its great stuff.
I would have to try it first. I got burned in the past by someone telling me trader joe's bourbon was good too It's already a huge bargain at just over 50 cents/oz for Maker's which I know I like at that price.
3 shot Makers 1 shot sweet vermouth 6 good shakes of Angestoura Bitters 1 teaspoon Maraschino Cherry Juice Shake with ice to the Cha-Cha, strain into a rocks glass and garnish with 3 Maraschino Cherries

Just got a fresh new bottle of that Kirkland rum that I love, but I havent found that Simply Tropical juice yet! Ive found other simplys, but not that!
i just spent a week in lexington - while i was there visited a few of the distilleries - buffalo trace, woodford, wild turkey, four roses, & town branch.
trace, woodford and roses had really cool old architecture & historic facilities. all those were pretty intimate tours - small hand bottling lines at both trace & woodford. wild turkey is a massive industrial operation, but they do have a hand bottle line. woodford had the slickest tour.
town branch is dinky in comparison to all, but they are mostly a brewer anyway (ky bourbon barrrel ale, etc).
fun experience. not a big drinker, but i've put four roses into the rotation.

After keepin an eye out for that Simply Tropical, I finally found a tropical Italian soda & DAMN its good! Great for mixing, etc... had it with Rum, tastes like a mai-tai, had it with vodka, less sweet but maybe even better.

Love this combo. You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar...Quick story:
In Pawleys Island SC there is a little pub called Quigley's Pint and Plate. Great food, atmosphere and people - but the beer, wow. Josh Quigley, the owner and brewer dude, brews up some tasty beers (I love the Peach Wheat). Some are seasonal and some smaller batches only come around certain times...Josh has a friend that works at Woodford and every now and then he gets a couple used oak barrels and he brews his "Angels Share" in those bourbon soaked barrels...And holy motherfucking shit is it one of THE best beers I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. Truly a nectar of the gods. It is a stout infused with the bourbon and it is out of this world. The only problem is that it is usually gone in a week or two, tops. You have to get it while the gettin' good. Anyway, Woodford is good shit. So is beer. So naturally beer with Woodford is 200% more gooder...

I'm thinking Simply Tropical may just be an East Coast thing but, tropical Italian soda sounds really good!!!
