i could live with any of the first three zz top records.. but i do love rgm and tres hombres more than the first (ducks)... especially the vinyl masters... i got those on cd and almost cried after billy g tried to turn them into something else in the late 80's...

but i will always have tres hombres and rio grande mud in my truck. alongside double nickels on the dime. i'm not sure my truck would start without them somewhere close to the ignition... and i know it never has HAD to start without those three albums in it..

yup. i've had that record, honestly, since grade school, and i STILL play it. how many records do you have like that? same with synchronicity. the police are and will always be one of my absolute favorite bands. stings decline into velveeta i still consider almost a personal tragedy...

My oldest sister turned me onto them when I was like 5. I had all their albums at my disposoal. Still listen to them on the regs. Theyr were and still are my first favorite band.

Stings solo career proved they were the sum of their talents together. Never apart.
