Every modern "rock" song has a nearly identical chorus
And almost every one of them kicks in at 1:00 on the button.
1. Slow down the tempo.
2. Do some vocal harmony effect.
3. If your vocals aren't clean, they have to to be for the chrorus.
4. Same with the guitars. Turn down the gain and don't play power chords.

I am very proud to say that The Hellacopters are the most "Modern" band I listen to.

modern = not classic rock
That's radio terminology, not mine.
I just went and checked the playlist for my local radio station and even checked some statistics for who gets the most spins.

You're local radio station plays juicer????
Our "hard rock" station pretty plays all the stuff in the op... Hence why I avoid the radio for the most part. Our jazz station is fucking awesome though

Re: Every modern "rock" song has a nearly identical chorus
There was an computerized analysis done recently of all the pop songs over the last 60 years or so and it was determined that it's essentially all the same shit. Structure, chords, melodies, pretty much the same still today.

Marshall 2536 2x12

Just making a point. I like Gluecifer, but I never got into them the way I got into the 'copters though.
I actually dig TN more than Gluecifer too.

It's Nickelback's fault, they have had great commercial success releasing the same songs on every album.
