P1 got here today!! WOOT!! Along with the green rhino. Thanks to rugbyguitargod for hooking that shit up!! Anyway. I love this thing. WAY better than any ampsim. Heres a pic and clip using KZs last drumjam. This is the P1 boosted with the green rhino, settings as seen in pic. I used the direct out and ran it through boogex for the cabsim. The built in one is cool, but I didnt want to use that tone. Anywhoo...I also used a low and hi pass filter...I think the low end was a tad overbearing. I dont think the hi pass really did anything. Gotta learn it through a few different sound systems to see whats up with the low end. Anyway, yeah...this tone is fucking SICK!! I read somewhere that they sound better with the 12 volt power supply, so Ill probably grab one of those just to see whats up!!

Dude that sounds damn good! I really liked the B1 that I had, but I didn't like the sound I got running it through the front of my amp, and I didn't like the idea of running it and only it through my power section of the amp.

I wish I had messed around with direct recordings of it, but honestly at the time, I didn't have any cab impulses. Hell, I don't think I really knew what they were when I had it.

Anyway, sounded great!

Happy new pedal day! I had the AMT Japanese girl wah; very cool pedal, but my Wilson effects Funk factory topped it so I ended up selling it (put the money towards a custom Jaguar). Anywho, have a good one with it

Congrats! I usually end up setting it with bass low, mids and treble high as well. The P1 sounds surprisingly close to the real thing.

Thanks guys. This thing sounds really good. I wanna get the 12v power supply and see whats up. Also, probably gotta take down the low end a bunch and I wanna spend some time playing with impulses, but time is hard to come by lately lol. It does pretty much sound like it fits in with the 5150 family.

I had a bitch of time finding the right 12v power supply and ended up buying a pedal power just so I never had to deal with that issue ever again. I have a 12v, 500ma power supply with the right size barrel but the polarity is opposite to traditional boss center negative, so I even bought a reverse polarity adapter. Still the power supply created a high pitch frequency when the pedal was engaged. Hence the Pedal Power 2+. I have no idea why is squeals.

Thats interesting. Yeah, Im having a hard time finding the 12v. It sounds pretty good on its own with the 9v, but then engage the boost and its fucking stellar. I just read that it sounds how its supposed to with the 12v, so I kinda wanna grab one. I dont really feel liked spending 30 bucks on a power supply, though...
