Clip: My first Mark III clip sampler (Green Stripe)

Post by darkintension »

Hey guys,

So I said I would throw up some clips of my Green Stripe Mark III into my Recto 2x12. These are straight into the amp. Did them up real quick and still haven't gotten a chance to really dive into the setting so it's MOSTLY shared settings with exception of the heavy clip at the end. Open to suggestions!

Hope ya'll are having a great day.

It's Mark III Clip day! Dude those sound amazing. I especially like parts 1,2, and 4. It's amazing those all came from the same amp, like I always say, Mark III Best Map eva!
My collection:

Mesa (Mark IV long and short head, Mark III red and blue stripe, Dual Rec 2 channel Rev G and Tremoverb)

Marshall (2203x, 2203KK, DSL50, JVM410)

Peavey (Butcher, VTM 120, Ultra 120, 6505)

Odd balls (Splawn Quickrod and EVH 5150III)

Yea, I'm loving this amp. Part 1 was the same settings as 2 but used the bridge for 1 and neck for 2.

Once I get the R2 Vol mod done, this will be perfect for gigs! I'm extremely excited to get it out there. If they made a reissue with two separate EQ channels... :wank:

2 EQs, that would be wild haha

I only use the lead channel so I'm set. Mark IVs are more versatile than Mark III, but don't really sound as good. You might want to check one out if you really need to do some on the fly channel switching.

Stop giving him bad advice Tommy :cop: If he needs that kind of versatility, the only answer is to run TWO Mark III's!!!!!

That was some awesome riffage!!! I can't believe how much ground that amp can cover... I knew they were versatile, but c'mon, that versatile.

I really need to play a Mark series amp at some point!
