I hate ernie's balls. String loaded failure. It will break on you, it's just a question of when. I just replaced the string in my VP Jr because it's the only thing that works properly as an expression pedal for Eventide pedals, besides the giant behringer midi floorboard, which I'm probably going to end up using anyway.
