I wrote a song for my friend's dog

Post by strings4v »

I am not sure if I have shared it with you guys or not... But a while ago, I wrote an acoustic instrumental song after my friend's dog died.
So... here it is. Hope you will enjoy it! I will take constructive criticism of anything about the song! That's how you grow up, right?

Beautiful tone, and a great song, Victor. Your friend is lucky to have a friend like you!

Possibly. He does a really good job of capturing that sentimental vibe.

Hahaha thank you for nice words!
As much as I like raunchy messy rock nirvana, I dig acoustic songs as well. Currently working on finger style! We will see how it goes.

She cried over the song... well apparently ha. But yeah I cry over a "right song" when heard at the "right moment." So it is pretty normal thing I suppose!

Buy "Pumping Nylon" by Scott Tenet. It's a fantastic book for classical guitar finger picking techniques for beginner classical guitarists. It was what my guitar teacher Scott Morris started me on back when I was a much more dedicated guitarist.

appreciate your recommendation. I always wish that I had something to hang on and follow.. Never had a book or a teacher guiding me.
So this kind of recommendation does help me! I will look into that book.

Very nice, very lyrical.
Seems like it would easy to put words to this and kick it to the next level.
Great tune.

Great tune.

Thank you! I appreciate your compliment.
I'd like it to be instrumental though, so people can relate themselves to the song and imagine things haha
