New KMFDM single... I'm geeking out.

Just when I started getting over my two year KMFDM obsession and giving them a break for a couple months... they drop a single for their upcoming album. I bluetoothed this in my car driving into work. With a full speaker system (which is what you really need to appreciate KMFDM) this track KILLS.

Badass. I'm looking forward to the new album a lot.

25 years of conceptual continuity. Random German words but eventually the joke "Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode". Fans shout "KMFDM SUCKS!"

Did you like the song? I'm excited as fuck. The last album was a little meh, but the teaser for the new album sounds

KMFDM was my first real guitar inspiration. I was playing piano but when I heard KMFDM when I was 11 it made me want to play guitar. The combination of super charged riffs and electro-dance grooves was and always will be perfect.

But I have to admit that my favorite era is the more recent Lucia Cifareli era KMFDM. Her voice in combination with Sascha's genius is ridiculously perfect. Too bad they lost Gunter Schultz on guitar but the newer riffs are still killer... just not quite as unique.

I thought so too when I first heard it, but I blue toothed it from my phone in my car and with a full speaker system it comes alive. There's a lot you don't hear on iphone speaker or regular computer speakers.

This tends to be the case with KMFDM. The mix is too rich for regular listening.

KMFDM has always had awesome vocal effects. Sascha doesn't have a typically great voice but in all the albums the way it's recorded and produced is just fucking perfect.

KMFDM is just fucking 100% perfect 68% of the time.
