A little fuzz pedal I built...

Post by neilrocks25 »

So I bought a Devi Ever Soda Meiser PCB and buit a pedal, it turned out OK.
Though I had a little problem and contacted Devi who pointed out where I went wrong (a stupid mistake with a capacitor)

I am actually modding it again for Diode clipping (an LED) just because..

Any way here is some pics
Its a simple pedal

I added a nice bright LED, I did use a blue one but I blew it :brow: to be honest red suits it better

Here is my crappy wiring (the PCB is mounted on Velcro)
You can also see where I slipped with the iron and touched a couple of caps. :shh:

looks good, her boards are pretty cool because one board gives you options - you need to add a resistor to one side of the LED, otherwise you might blow another one. You can adjust the brightness too depending on the value you use.

I have used resister its just covered ;)
It's not a wire even though it looks like it. But I chose to have lower rating as I like bright LED's

I Like the boards to very well built, I am modding it again to try LED clipping (I tried it for fun and I like it a lot).

very clever, now I see it - is it shrink tubing? I'll have to remember that next build, I usually just wrap in electrical tape and it usually looks crappy.

I will have to delay the clips as I was trying mods and grounded the board and blew (and I mean blew up) a transistor :o
I will post clips once i get the replacement :o
