I have been listening to the sword a lot lately, can you recommend me something similar, fun but pahaps with less high vocals (no Cookie Monster).
I love the thrashy grinding guitars.


What should I get?

both the bass and guitar player in that band use verellen amps (meatsmoke and skyhammer)

Torche, Floor, Kylesa, and orange goblin should be a good start

Trouble and Church of Misery. COM vocals are on the harsh side but I wouldn't call them cookie monster.

If you can get past the "trying too hard to sound like Shinedown" vocals.

The music is generally pretty good though.
