I know we don't have a ton of edm guys on here, but this isn't exactly your typical edm.

Not sure what label it will come out on yet, as I am posting this "unofficially", so it will be deleted in a couple days. Just posting this as a teaser.

Nice will check out once home.
I don't talk about it much here but I'm big into the genre, what do you use to produce?

I've been thinking of grabbing a push + ableton since I've been into dnb for the last decade and have really been enjoying going to EDM shows the past couple years.
Guitars:
ESP Eclipse, JR Tele, Gibson LP Tribute, Gibson Government Explorer S I/II, Yamaha FGX830C, Balaguer Goliath, Squire Jazz Bass
Maps:
Egnater Armageddon, 5153 50W Stealth, Quilter, Ashdown RM500
Cabs:
Bogner 4x12, Bogner OS 2x12, Randall MTS 2x12, Eden D410XLT

Its mostly dubstep-ish bass music with some dark ambient elements added. This one is in 110bpm, so it technically isn't dubstep, but it's definitely not anything else you might label a 110 track.

I would recommend FL Studio, super user-friendly and comes with a boatload of handy plugins.

Awesome that sounds like something I'd dig actually. I tend to prefer the heavy "brostep" type stuff a lot of the time so heavy bass is good.

Since you're also a guitarist have you ever considered using a guitar midi controller or anything to create with?
I feel like I could create music FAST that way and then also have something I could actually perform in a live context if I were so inclined.

Oh dude, that's exactly what I make, so I hope you like the track!

As for the guitar midi controller, I use this: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15322&p=295675&hilit=NGD+sort+of#p295665

I also have a midi drum pad and keyboard and am working on doing some live edm/DJing stuff.
