Top Gear SE19

Post by RSBro »

Been pretty good so far. E02 was righteous; Lexus LFA, new Aston Martin Vantage and the new Dodge Viper or whatever it's called now.
I was glad to see them putting the LFA through the paces finally, since it was first reviewed by Hamster in SE14. That V10 makes some kinda sound.
Wonder how many episodes they'll do these next 3 seasons, each. I have a sneaking suspicion they won't re-up after these are done, but that's just me.

Neeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooow.

Jokes aside, I enjoy watching the show despite getting bored when people generally talk about flying carpets. It is a cool show.

That fruit in the exhaust/seat to the very back/pulling off the spark plug leads prank was hilarious.

Top Gear USA S3E8 was yesterday as well... they tested the toughest car in america and then Tanner tried to outrun the 101st Airborne in a G63 AMG. Pretty entertaining as well.

I had a good chuckle at them putting the seat right back, pedals right forward, and pulling the fuse.

I was visiting a friend once and he told me to take his new Ford GT-P out for a drive to see what I thought. Got in the thing and was all, "WTF?" at his positioning. Seat way back and low, wheel right forward, could hardly reach or see shit. I'm a tad shorter than him, but this seemed properly 'tarded (yet somehow he gets in it and it seems right :idk: ). But I figured I was only going out for a short drive so I'd just deal with it rather than adjust all his shit. The first struggle was getting the thing out of the factory, seeing as the driveway is seemingly a 45deg angle and the car barely clears the ground.

Out on the road, got it up to a decent speed before realising... "Shit... if I can hardly reach the accelerator... that means I'll barely be able to reach the brake."
