Need recommendations for a padded gig bag...

Post by Elessar [Sly] »

For a Jaguar guitar? I need one that is just the right size. Being left handed I am unable to get a hard case (facist peeg dogs).

Help a lover out?

Check out the Levy's padded bags...

I got one on eBay a while back, it's got a decent amount of padding and a nice soft interior.

Would that fit a Jaguar style guitar in there though?

I can't say if a Jaguar would fit in there. The reason I mentioned it is I have one of these and I've used it for a lot of different guitars, even a semi-hollow.

I don't have a Jaguar, so I can't tell you for sure. I'd be happy to measure the case that I have and post the dimensions, if that would help.

+1 on the Levy's gig bags. I've been using one for 6 years now, at least 2-3 times a week and it still looks and works great. They're very durable. I'm not sure if it would fit a Jaguar though.

Years ago a buddy of mine had got one of the "Body Bags" from Coffin cases.....that thing kicked ass. Very solid for a gigbag, and it can fit practically any guitar.

Dude, if you're looking for a hardshell case, I use this one for my lefty Fender style builds. It less expensive then some of the gig bags I've seen & just a bit more "bulletproof" being constructed out of plywood.

holy shit I just realized that my gig bag costs $230 :freak:

It came with a guitar I bought used years ago and I never cared to check the price.... no wonder it's so good... shit, I wouldn't buy it for that price.
