Lost was about 4.5 seasons too long.

At least we haven't had anyone ranting about Star Trek yet :idk:

The Wire for me. Although the bits that have stuck in my memory however long after tend to be the funnier bits (photocopier lie-detector, Jimmy crashing the car, "McNutty" etc.)

Watched a few episodes of Breaking Bad at the start and... meh, it was ok but didn't get me all too interested. And I've got far more crap to watch than I have time to watch.

Breaking bad was a big let down.

Jesse was a shitty character. Wtf smokes meth like he does and still has a full set of white teeth? No one.

I wish I hadn't wasted time watching it. Season 5 I just wanted it to end.

I've never seen anybody overact in my life as much as Claire Danes. Yeah yeah she's supposed to be bipolar, blah blah blah. Her acting makes me want to smack her.

Lost is by far the best show I ever watched. The Wire got my vote here, although I would put Lost as a comedic drama, but its definitely drama.

Honestly I felt it got too outlandish and ridiculous during season 5. Season 1 was pretty rough with bad acting/plot, but seasons 2 - 4 were epic. Season 5 ruined it for me. The finale was stupid but not Lost kind of stupid.

And it's pretty damn depressing to binge watch. No thanks.

I agree about Lost but they mythology makes it hard for many people to get into. However, it is the only show own every season of on DVD. :thu:

Also, Justified, anyone?

I liked the original Homicide: Life on the Street. The Adena Watson case was pretty memorable. Skip the last season though. It turns into a soap opera.

Still haven't gotten around to watching the Wire yet.

First 48 is my favorite drama.

First 30 seconds of the show, u see a dead body in the hood.

Then, you chase the bastard down. Then the second half start- another dead body from the ghetto.

Shit is intense. I love it.
