The story itself is tragic and not funny at all. Link here, if you want to read it. A cop in my town was shot and killed by a transient psycho. Traveling with the psycho was a woman of whom they're still trying to determine whether she was accomplice, victim, or some mixture of the two. The woman was a model in her younger years, and frankly gorgeous, but has a rare allergic/immune disorder that has warped her features. The local news, in running the story, has been constantly reposting a then/now picture of her.
