Hi just introducing myself.
My name is Greg, and I'm a hack musician.
I'm 43, been doing the music thing on and off for about 30 years now. Got out of playing for a while, but got back in about 5 years ago.
Currently playing a CS Strat and a very unstock Peavey Classic 50 through a homemade Mesa 212.
The Clash made me start playing guitar and I learned how to play in a punk/hardcore band in Jr. High.
Once the bug bit me, I listened to everything from Albert King, to EVH, Rhoads, Hendrix...all the icons.
I would say my biggest early rock influences would be Jimi, Angus, Iommi, Hetfield and of course a lot of the punkier stuff like Mick Jones, Deniz Tek, Greg Ginn, etc.
Currently listening to all my early influences as well as some more current music like Hot Water Music, Murder City Devils, Quicksand, Tool (to name just a few).
My YouTube channel- nothing fancy, as I don't have much gear, and nothing to record with really. Just something to prove I actually kind of play a guitar and I'm not some troll.
