Man, this says WAY more about Zach Snyder than anything else. The guy playing Superman was the least of that movie's problems. In fact, I rather liked him. He is certainly the first actor who actually looks like he could stop a train with his bare hands.

The first problem of that movie was the script. The second problem was the direction. The third was that Amy Adams performance was terrible but could have easily been saved with more butt shots.

OK, so we can agree on this. :hi5:
But your opinions of both Joss Whedon and Bryan Singer are still wrong. :cop:

I didn't watch Man of Steel, and have zero plans to do so, but I am in 100% agreement that more butt shots of Amy Adams would make anything better. The butt shots of her in Night at the Museum was what made me finish watching it.

Its sad because the movie had such potential. It was almost there.

Honestly its worth torrenting to watch it. Its not great by any means, but there are some fairly entertaining parts, and it is Superman. I actually thought the guy playing Superman did a pretty good job. :idk:

I was the same way. Superman just never seemed that 'believable' to me. I understand his place in comic history and the fact that there really does need to be someone like Superman to add balance to the world of fiction, but yeah. Always seemed too 'saturday morning cartoon' to me.

That's because even as a child you realized a nigh on invincible superhero with silly weaknesses that his arch enemy (who was his enemy why again?) always just seemed to have was dumb and lame.

This. Everything about Superman is dumb. The thing that pissed me off more than the invincibility this is this: Nobody could tell that Clark Kent is superman? Really? His "disguise" is like putting a lamp shade on your head and standing in the middle of the living room while playing hide and seek.

Batman and Wolverine were always my favorite. But I aso watched the old school Superman movies as a kid, and I remember the whole Death of Superman issues that came out in the early 90's.
